To help assess your fit within the organisation, our application process involves four vital steps.

Stage 1: Application

You can find the list of openings on the Opportunities page and you can apply directly by sending an e-mail containing a one-page cover letter with your updated resume to opportunities@ifmr.co.in. All e-mail messages should mention the position sought in the subject line.

Stage 2: Screening

Your application will be reviewed and screened by our Talent Team. We will respond to you within ten working days with either a notice of rejection or a request for additional information/documentation like a work sample or application exercise. If you do not hear from us during this period, please check your bulk or spam folder.

Stage 3: Telephonic Interview

If we want to take your application further, one of our Talent Team members will be calling you to analyze fit. This first round will focus on looking at the suitability for the role in terms of experience, academic achievement, skills and competencies.

After you clear the first round, it may be followed by subsequent telephonic interviews by the head of the team for which the requirement has been raised.

Stage 4: In-Person Interview

Our Talent Team will conduct in-person interviews for the shortlisted candidates. Based on the seniority of the position in hand, it might be followed by one or more in-Person Interviews.

This will help us both in knowing each other more and also to see whether we can have a mutually beneficial relationship.

We do understand that your time is precious so we try to wrap up the process in a matter of a couple of weeks. Whatever the outcome, we will make sure that it is a positive experience for both the parties.
